Self-conception is provisional in order to deal with the demands of environment and society. Self-conception is articulated using the prefix “I am”. For example, I am good or bad, beautiful or ugly, old or young, white or black, rich or poor, atheist or believer, educated or uneducated, father or mother, eternal or ephemeral, etc. Self is not only provisional but also impermanent. There is no eternal immortal self or spirit of any kind independent of its constituent cause and conditions.

Spirit is a phenomenon emerging from dynamic interaction of its constituent cause and conditions beyond its constituent cause and conditions. Like all phenomenon, spirit is ephemeral and empty, devoid of existence without its constituent cause and conditions.

Spirit is ephemeral and cannot exist independent of it’s constituent cause and conditions. There is nothing eternal or immortal about spirit in life that can remain intact after life beyond disintegration of it’s constituent cause and conditions.

Spirit emerges from the improved constituent cause and conditions. For example, a well-played game is said to have played with the right spirit. Great action is said to have great spirit. Gravity is spirit of planetary system. Electric field is spirit of circulating current. Rainbow is spirit arising due to water droplets and sunrays. Moon in water is spirit arising due to night, calm water and moon.

Spirit is attributed to everything animate and inanimate on account of it’s constituent cause and conditions that gives it special qualities and characteristics. Different cause and conditions give rise to a spirit which disintegrates and disperses with the disintegration and dispersion of its constituent cause and conditions.

Cause and conditions has to be good for the spirit to be healthy. Right practice of deep meditation benefits by contributing to improvement in cause and conditions of life.

You are an Ephemeral Spirit of Life.

You are awareness, the natural spiritual phenomenon arising like a pattern from dynamic interaction of your harmoniously integrated cause and conditions including but not limited to processes of life, action and effect of actions that constitute you. Like all phenomenon, you are ephemeral and empty devoid of existence independent of your constituent cause and conditions.

As seamlessly clear awareness, you are the spiritual phenomenon of knowing correctly in the right context as it is without getting controlled by the effect of known or known. When seamlessly clear awareness reflects and gets detached from the known and unknown, you become self-aware without self-conception. Aware and detached or self-aware without self, you feel spiritually awakened.

You are Due to Casuse and Conditions of Life.

You are an ephemeral phenomenon of life arising due to dynamic interaction of your indispensable constituent cause and conditions. You do not exist without or independent of your indispensable constituent cause and conditions.

As you know, for example, you exist as effect of the actions of your ancestors and you are due to conditions of your life-processes, your actions and effect of those actions. Though you are an ephemeral phenomenon of life, you continue in the effects of your intentional actions, for example, your children, the ideas you uphold and your contribution to your society and environment.

You are a phenomenon, just like rainbow, horizon, brightness or moon in water which only appears to exist but does not really exist independent of its constituent cause and conditions.

You are neither eternal nor immortal in any way. Hence you must live this opportunity of life as best as you can by improving the cause and conditions of life for authentic intense living.

Since independent eternal immortal inner Self or inner being is hallucination, you do not exist without your indispensable constituent cause and conditions including parents, body, process of life, actions and effects of actions just like brightness cannot exist without lamp, fuel, wick, light and dispersion of light.

All forms and phenomenon are due to harmoniously coming together of its indispensable constituent cause and conditions. Everything beyond constituent cause and conditions, for example patterns and phenomenon, arises due to dynamic interaction of constituent conditions, disintegrate with the disintegration of constituent conditions and gets recycled.

Spirit Disperses with the End of Life

There is no eternal or immortal inner self or spirit inside you or in any life form to continue intact after life. Life is rare and impermanent. Hence life should be lived happily while making most out of it by exploring all its potentials and possibilities. However, nonattachment is the key to happiness in impermanent life.

Experiences beyond life, for example past life memory or out-of-body experiences, are due to psychological and physiological conditions shaped by early life or past impressions formed and forgotten unknowingly.

There is neither past birth nor next birth because there is nothing eternal or immortal about life that is independent of its constituent cause and conditions. There is no self that can be distinguished from it’s constituent cause and conditions.

Because you know you do not have wings, you do not jump from a cliff. Similarly, even if you may believe that you have life after death, you resist death and pain even if life is suffering because you know that you are not independent eternal immortal spirit and there is no life after death. Present life is the only opportunity to play and enjoy life.

Deep sleep and meditation are natural glimpses of death and liberation from suffering. If life after death existed in reality, you would not like to wake up, you would go on sleeping deeply and keep dreaming the memories of your and ancestral lives.

Change and impermanence are universally constant principles that disintegrates, disperses and recycles everything without exception. Hence, living in the present without getting attached to the impermanent life is the right attitude while living and acting in life.

Since, you continue in the effect of your intentional actions, you should act ethically and leave a benevolent effect of your action. The effect of your actions will find it’s place just like water, air, earth, heat finds its space in the cycle of nature and life.
